Amphipod makes a number of running belts and fuel belts that offer perfect storage solutions for either the casual or distance runner. While they focus on smaller pouches and storage, they also have fuel belts and larger pouches as well.
Amphipod Review
The Amphipod airflow micro-stretch is my personal favorite. The belt is incredibly light, easily adjustable and does not bounce or ride up. The real beauty of the Amphipod running belt though is its stretchy pouch. The pouch lays flat and is rather small when empty, but it stretches to the point where it can hold my iPhone, a Chapstick and several gels. For races, it is perfect as a gel holder, zipping open and closed easily and being flexible enough to hold good number of items. I have also attached a separate iPhone pouch to the belt before, and amphipod carries various extra pouches.
For races, Amphipod carries versions of their belts that also have race number holders. I found that I could have used such a feature when I ran my last marathon and discovered that I had pinned by bib over my pouch. The fix, however, was easy, I simply turned the pouch to the side of my waist instead of directly in front. It is so light that where it rides makes very little different to me.
